Our God is Amazing

Do you believe in one eternal God?
In God's Word, the Holy Bible, the verse Romans 1:20 it is written, For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead... What this means is that God has not only revealed his own existence at several points in history, but he is revealing it to man now. Man has a built-in knowledge of God's existence. Each man knows by his own nature and the nature of the world around him, that God exists.
God loves you and wants to give you Life.
In I Timothy 2:4 it says that God will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. In John 3:16 it is written, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God wants to bring you eternal life.
You must confess that you are a sinner.
Man has been sinful since the very first sin committed by Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:6 says And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Romans 3:23 for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it
is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Sin is not just the things that we see everyday in the world and recognize. Sin can lie entirely within a person's heart. Most people consider murder to be a mortal sin, but Matthew 5 says that if you hate your brother you are in danger of judgment. Many men call adultery as a sin, but Matthew 5 says if you look at a woman lustfully you have sinned. These are sins of the heart and all represent the rejection of the authority of an all-powerful and loving God. These sins are what separates us from God. Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God is holy, meaning absolutely perfect and without sin. God cannot reside with sin. Holiness is something that is hard for a man to understand, because no man is holy. Man is not holy and because of this man must be separated from God, for God cannot be in the presence of sin. Outside of God's presence, all that exists is death.
There is only ONE way for man to reach God
For thousands of years men have been trying to bridge the gap between God and themselves. Men have tried to use good deeds to bring them to God. Other men have used religion as a way of reaching God, but none of these ways can possibly succeed. In John 14:6 the Bible says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
This way is Jesus. The entire Bible was written about this man, even thousands of years before he was born. Acts 10:43 says, To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins. Christ died on the cross and was killed by man. When he died He took our sins with Him. This is often hard for a man to understand. He was crucified on a cross and when he died he took our sins. On the third day he rose from the grave and man was freed forever from bondage created by sin under one condition, and that is that he would believe.
If you believe you can be saved.
To be saved you must first of all confess to God that you are a sinner. You can communicate with God anywhere, even without speaking, because he can see inside of your own heart. You must be sorry for your sins. You must also ask God for forgiveness from your sins. The first reason is that you betrayed God to begin with and the second reason is because Christ the innocent and sinless man was forced to die in your place for your sins. You must believe with your WHOLE heart that Christ did die for your sins and that he rose again on the third day. You must also believe that nothing you can do makes you worthy of God. Your salvation is entirely by grace. Ephesians 2: 8-9 says, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. If you confess your sins and believe with your heart, you must ask Jesus to come into your life and become a part of you. This is all that is needed to reach salvation.

What is next?
The first step I would take would be to find or purchase a Bible and begin reading it. In doing this you need to ask God to help you interpret the words. Another step that you should take is to find some form of fellowship with other Christians. This can probably be done best in finding a church. By doing this other men can help to guide you through the early steps of your faith.
